Can different parts of the venue be used for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception?

Absolutely. Quinta dos Machados features multiple spaces—from our serene woods to elegant indoor halls—so you can tailor each phase of your celebration precisely to your vision.

Is there ample parking, or are shuttle services available?

Yes. Our on-site parking lot can accommodate up to 100 vehicles, and shuttle services can be arranged upon request.

How many rooms are available for guests, and can they be booked exclusively?

We currently offer 30 rooms that can comfortably accommodate up to 70 guests for exclusive use by your wedding party, and from June 2025—after our hotel renovation—we will have 35 rooms available to host up to 80 people.

Is there a special rate for wedding guests staying on-site?

Yes. Your guests benefit from a special group rate by booking the entire hotel.

Do you provide in-house catering, or can we bring in our own caterers?

Quinta dos Machados offers in-house catering with customizable menus. If you’d prefer an external caterer, you can choose from our list of partner services, who can serve your event for an additional fee, or let us know so we can explore further possibilities.

Can menus be customized based on dietary restrictions or preferences (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.)?

Yes. Our catering team provides a variety of options to accommodate most dietary needs.

Does the venue offer wedding planning or coordination services?

Yes. Our dedicated Events Team will coordinate every detail, ensuring your wedding runs smoothly and reflects your personal style.

What is included in the wedding package—tables, chairs, linens, décor?

We offer all-inclusive packages covering tables, chairs, linens, decor, and even entertainment. You can also opt to bring your own decorations and work with your preferred suppliers.

Are there any restrictions on how late the reception can go?

Outdoor events with music may continue until 11:00 p.m., while indoor events can extend until 4:00 a.m. Further extensions depend on local council regulations.

Can we bring our own decorations or work with outside vendors?

Absolutely. You are welcome to bring in your own decor and vendors. We also provide a network of trusted suppliers recognized for their professionalism and quality.

What is the price range for hosting a wedding here?

It varies according to your chosen services—catering, decor, entertainment, and more. Our Classic Package for 100 guests starts at €40,000 and includes all essential wedding elements.

How far in advance do we need to book?

We recommend securing your date 8 to 12 months in advance to ensure availability. We are currently accepting bookings for 2026 and have a limited number of slots available for 2025. Please contact our team for further details.

What is the cancellation?

You can cancel up to 90 days before the wedding date. After that period, fees may apply according to the contract terms.
