1. Reservations & Payments
• All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by Quinta dos Machados.
• Payment can be made via credit card, bank transfer, Revolut, and MBWay.
• A valid credit card is required to secure a booking. Full or partial payment may be required in advance depending on the rate chosen.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
• Guests may cancel or modify their booking as per the specific conditions of the selected rate. Some rates may be non-refundable or subject to specific cancellation policies.
• No-shows or late cancellations may result in a full charge.
• Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the payment method used.
3. Check-in & Check-out
• Check-in time: from 16:00.
• Check-out time: until 12:00.
• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
4. Smoking
• Smoking is strictly prohibited in rooms and common areas. The only permitted smoking area is the outdoor restaurant area.
5. Pets
• Pets are welcome! Quinta dos Machados is a pet-friendly property, and we even have our beloved resident dog, Café!
• Guests with pets must complete a pet admission form and pay a fee of €25 per animal, which includes a pet bed, snack, treat, and toy. Guide dogs are exempt from this fee.
• Pet owners must comply with all Portuguese and international regulations regarding pet licensing.
• Housekeeping & Maintenance teams will not enter a room with a pet present unless the pet is leashed or absent.
• Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in social areas and any disturbances must be avoided.
• Owners are fully responsible for cleaning up after their pets and any damages caused to the property or other guests. Any damages will be charged accordingly.
• Pets are not allowed in the restaurant or bakery areas.
6. Use of Facilities
• Hotel guests have complimentary access to spa facilities. Non-guests can access the spa for a fee of €12.50 for a full day and €7.50 for half a day.
• A variety of massages and wellness treatments are available for booking on-site.
• The Atmos Steam Center, located within the hotel woods, is available for booking directly on-site and through Atmos App, more information
here.
• The bakery and restaurant are open to both hotel guests and the public.
7. Wi-Fi Usage
• Complimentary Wi-Fi is available to all guests throughout the property.
8. Liability
• Quinta dos Machados is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged valuables unless stored in the provided safes.
• The hotel is not responsible for the safety and behavior of pets brought onto the property.
• Guests are expected to follow all hotel rules and are responsible for any damages they cause.
